11 days until Classes starts

Looking at the calendar makes me feel excited but nervous as well. 11 days more to go until College classes starts. I'm excited because this is my first time going to College here in the US. I took two year associate degree back in the Philippines and it was 4 years ago since I graduated. Now, it is exciting for me going back to school. Hopefully, I will be able to catch up all the assignments and stuff I need to do for school. I'm working full time on the weekend and School full time on weekdays. Let see how it works.

Finally met my friend

I've been to a lot of websites when I was still in the Philippines to make friends online. I was waiting for my visa that time, that's one of the reason why I want to make friends . And yes I found some and I learned a lot from them especially to my visa requirements. One of the friend I found online is Jenny. She's from cebu and she lives here in the US for few years before I got here. She's very helpful and she gave me some ideas whatever I need to know.

It's been over 3 years since I've known her but I never seen her in person. Last Saturday, I got a message from her. Chores day!

I woke up kinda late today but I did a lot of things then. After making the bed, I went to the kitchen and grabbed something to eat. When I was done eating, I started to put away all the dishes to the covered and rinse some of the dishes that was left on the sink and then put it in the dishwasher.
I then started cleaning all the counters, tables and chairs. After that, I went back upstairs and start the laundry. While the laundry's going I went ahead and start vacuum from the living space to the kitchen, then going downstairs to the first floor then after that continue to the stairs going up to the 3rd level. Just time the laundry was done and I had to start the dryer. I had to hang some of my clothes that I don't want to be in the dryer. After taking care of the laundry, I had to start wiping mirrors in our bathroom and bedroom, do dusting and started vacuum again. And then finally got done on those stuff. Looking forward for tomorrow I have bunch of clothes to be ironed.

Pacific City, Oregon

We went to Pacific City, Oregon last weekend and it was perfectly nice at the beach. We were amazed the views and everything on the beach. We had so much fun because it was also the Dory Days, they called. There were bands playing, some games for kids, and contest. It was not that crowded like other beaches around. It was very perfect and we stayed the whole day, didn't leave until 8 oclock in the evening. Some beautiful pictures I took above.

Summer time is the most exciting season for me. In two weeks or so the summer starts and I'm already excited about it. Boating

Last weekend, my husband and I went to Columbia river with our friends. Our friends has boat and they took the boat to the river. We had so much fun riding it and saw a lot of nice views. We found a place where we can hang out out for a little bit. We stayed there for couple hours, barbecued some beef, pork and grilled some corn. The twins had fun playing in the sand and also in the water. My friend and I, played volleyball for few minutes then we went ahead left our stuff for a little bit and we took the boat to look around the island and we saw a lot of fish.

Looking for job

It's almost 2 weeks now being off from my job. Right now, I'm searching job online because it's too boring staying home. It's been awhile I haven't cook filipino food. I've been sick lately, my allergies been bothering me a lot latelt that's why I don't feel like cooking. Worst allergy

I discussed about my allergy problem last year and this year it's worst. I didn't know what to do at all. I went to the doctor before and she gave me spray that will help my allergy but then it didn't work. I got laid off again

After my visit to the Philippines, this is the second time I got laid off. I went back to work the day I was supposed to go back to work from my visit but then they told me that I was one of the 65 people that got laid off. I filed for UE but the next day I got a call from my job that they want me to come back to work. I started the April 27 of this year and then I got laid off again last Friday the 29 of May. I got home from work and I realize I missed a call and that was from my job. They left me message on my voicemail and said that I'm laid off again. I was sad knowing that I'm not working again and wait until they will call me again because that's what they said when they left me a message that they will call me back when things will come back up but I'm not sure it will happen again because one of my co-worker texted me last night and told me that there were few people that was laid off too. I hope to get a new job soon or if I don't hopefully they will call me back.

Visiting my Family for five weeks

I was going to visit my family last week of March this year and stay there for about 3 weeks but then when my Aunt passed away I had to come home two weeks early. I had to talk my supervisor and asked if I can leave that time for my Aunt's funeral and they let me go. It took three days for me to get there because I had to stop in Manila, met my 2 brothers and come to my city together with them.

Spending time with my family especially with my grandparents was great eventhough my Aunt is gone. We still do something fun at home and sometimes we talked about her. I cooked for my grandparents and do household chores. Right now, thinking about my five weeks stay in the Philippines was quick but when I was there I keep thinking about my husband and I wanted to come back for him right away but then when I'm here I want to be with my family again. I miss them a lot the reason why I want to be with them.

No posting for 2 months...

It's been awhile for me being not active on blogs. For some reason I had to leave it no post or anything at all. It's hard for me to get back to it as I've been through hard and sad situation two months ago. My loving Aunt who helped me raise since I was a kid, passed away last March 9, 2009. It's a lot of pain knowing that someone you loved so much is gone. I can't explain the sadness and pain that I still feel right now but I need to accept it. One thing I want to let her know where ever she is right now that we love her so much and I do miss her a lot. I will not forget her at all because she's the most amazing Aunt ever. I LOVE YOU AUNTIE!!!
